OfficeGames.io ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website at officegames.io and use our services.

1. Information we collect
- Account dataWhen you create an account, we collect your email address, chosen username, and country. If you sign in via Google OAuth, we receive your name and email address from Google. We do not access your Google password.
- Game statisticsWe store your game results, scores, completion times, streaks, and achievement progress. This data powers the leaderboard, your personal stats dashboard, and the monthly reward distribution. Guest players’ game data is stored locally in the browser and is never sent to our servers.
- Profile pictureChoosing one of the built-in avatars or a colour stores only a reference to that choice. If you upload your own photo, the image file itself is stored in our hosting provider’s file storage and served from a public URL — anyone who has that link can open the image, so do not upload anything you would not want shared. Removing the photo, or deleting your account, removes it.
- Cookies & local storageWe use cookies and browser local storage for essential site functionality, analytics, and advertising. Local storage also holds your own preferences — theme, sound and effects, and the state of the navigation rail. See Section 6 (Cookies) below for full details.
2. How we use your data
We use your information to provide and improve our service, including:
- Provide and maintain game functionality, including saving your progress and preferences
- Operate the global leaderboard and calculate monthly rankings
- Distribute reward pool earnings to eligible players (planned — this has never taken place)
- Process identity verification for cashout requests (planned — this has never taken place)
- Send essential account notifications (security alerts, and reward credits once rewards open)
- Improve our games and services through anonymised analytics
- Detect and prevent cheating, fraud, and abuse
3. Advertising
No advertisement is currently displayed anywhere on this site. Our advertising account is still under review, and no ad unit is served on any page. Google's AdSense loader script is present on every page because that is how Google verifies ownership of a site during review; it does not display anything.
When advertising does begin, we will use Google AdSense. AdSense may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to our site or other websites. Advertising storage is denied by default and is only enabled after you grant consent through our cookie banner — see Section 6.
We never sell your personal data.
Advertising is how the platform intends to pay for itself, and that is the whole of it — we do not sell, rent or trade your personal data to anyone, for advertising or for anything else.
4. Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable privacy laws, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
