Frequently asked questions
What happens if I fail a challenge?
A failed attempt deducts points. You may use one redemption retry to recover part of them, but a retry cannot earn the full first-attempt score. Closing the browser, switching tabs or going idle during a competitive challenge also counts as a failed attempt.
Do I need an account?
No. Free Play is available to everyone without an account. A free account unlocks Competitive mode, which is the version that tracks your daily streak, earns points, and makes you eligible for a share of the monthly prize pool.
Can I play all four challenges each day?
Yes. Wordle, Sudoku, Solitaire and Connections each have their own independent daily challenge, and you can play them in any order. Completing all four maximises the points available to you that day. Wordle alone offers three daily puzzles across its 4-, 5- and 6-letter modes.
What happens if I miss a day?
Missing a day breaks your streak, which reduces your point multiplier. Free Play is unaffected — you can play unlimited puzzles any time — and the next day starts a fresh set either way.
How are ties handled?
By total time. When two players finish a month on the same number of points, the one with the lower combined completion time across their challenges ranks higher. Every game records its session time for this reason, whether or not the timer is shown while you play.
